On The Water Tuition

Do you own your own boat?
Do you go out fishing in that boat and don't catch many fish.
Do you want to know whether your boat is set up for the type of fishing that you do?
Are you frustrated after a day's fishing on the water?

This is where I can help you out. All you need to do is arrange a time for me to come out with you in your boat and advise you how to set up your boat so that you will not only catch some fish, but you will enjoy yourself more when you do go out fishing.

Listed below are some of the things I will go through with you:
  • How to go about anchoring your boat.
  • Berleying techniques.
  • How to go about collecting live bait.
  • Identification of the different baits that can be used when fishing in the saltwater and what baits to use for what fish species.
  • Techniques on how to rig them.
  • Suggested types of rod, reel and terminal tackle to use.
  • Places to go and fish.
  • Types of lures and plastics that are available for saltwater.
  • How, when and where to use them.
  • Various techniques for using lures.
  • How to rig the various lures

The day of the water tuition is for you and one other person (that means two anglers, plus me). The boat must be capable of safely taking three anglers and have all the required safety gear needed.

On the day you will bring along your own gear that you have been using and I will bring along my own. This is so that you will see the type of rods, reels and tackle that I use.

You will also supply the bait and berley required for the time on the water.

Prices are as follows
$320 for 6 hours
or
$60 per hour

For further information you can either email me at gbrown1@iprimus.com.au or phone me on 0422994207
